Rhizarthritis is a form of osteoarthritis that affects the joint at the base of the thumb, causing pain, swelling, and difficulty performing pinching or gripping movements. It is common in older adults or individuals with overuse of the hand.
Treatments:

Includes conditions such as epicondylitis (tennis elbow), epitrochleitis (golfer’s elbow), De Quervain’s tenosynovitis (inflammation of the thumb tendons), and trigger finger (tendon entrapment in the hand). They cause pain, inflammation, and functional limitation.
Treatments:
- Guided ECO infiltrations (to relieve pain and inflammation).
- Regenerative medicine (promotes the repair of tendons and muscles).
- Surgery (in severe or chronic cases).
Carpal tunnel syndrome occurs when the median nerve is compressed at the wrist, causing pain, tingling, and weakness in the hand and fingers. It is common in people who perform repetitive hand movements.
Treatments:
- Ultrasound-guided injections (to reduce inflammation and relieve symptoms).
- Surgery (releases the compressed nerve in severe cases).

Cysts and ganglia are fluid-filled lumps that appear on the joints or tendons of the hand or wrist. Although they are usually benign, they can cause pain or aesthetic discomfort.
Treatments:
- Ultrasound-guided injections (to reduce size and relieve pain).
- Surgery (removal of the cyst in persistent or symptomatic cases).
